There's a certain time of day, right around now actually, when the setting sun in the west gets just at the right angle, about halfway down the horizon, and the eastern sky fades to an almost royal blue. For a few brief minutes, every eastern facing building in Boston reflects the sun and lights up like a fire. The contrast of blaze orange steel against a deep blue sky is one of the boldest things I think I've ever seen.
I love the view from my new room.
